I am on a mission to equip you with knowledge—applied knowledge is the best way to heal
Hello to you! I hope you have had the most amazing summer because it’s about to end soon. I recently read that several states including mine are about to experience a major heat wave. I don’t know how you feel about that. I love summer, but I will say, the Fall season will be nice. The beautiful feel of the Fall season, making soups for my family, football games, the beautiful weather which is nice because it is a little bit cooler, and of course the Fall fashion I love and the warm drinks. A favorite drink of mine in the winter is a chai tea breve latte, and a warm caramel apple cider with whipped cream on top. Now I will say, these “used” to be my favorite drinks, but I am careful about the sugar I take in because it directly feeds tumor growth. No thank you!
I popped in today to talk about inflammation for a little bit. Now, to be straight up honest with you, before getting a stage 4 ovarian cancer diagnosis out of the blue by the way, back in March of 2020, I had no idea, nor a care in the world to learn about inflammation until getting a cancer diagnosis. So why is it a big deal? First of all, it is the very beginning foundation to disease. So, if a person gets a cancer diagnosis, before that happens, inflammation is already brewing in the body. In fact, research shows that cancer likes to hide in inflammation. So, it’s best to learn how to manage it as best as a person can. Now, we do have to have a certain amount of inflammation in our body, but most of us have too much. I am talking about chronic inflammation. And that is what having too much inflammation can cause.
So let’s talk about what causes inflammation
Hormone Imbalances. Stress. Excess Alcohol. Food sensitivity. Gut dysfunction. Nutrient deficiency. Infections in the body. Surgery. Poor diet. And lack of sleep. Too much inflammation then leads to brain fog, depression, digestive issues, loss of appetite, headaches, feeling cold, feeling puffy, allergies, skin redness and so much more.
I want to empower you that you can absolutely work on keeping the inflammation in your body from turning into chronic inflammation. You have so much power to take control of your health before it gets crazy out of control. This is why I am educating you.
Here are a few suggestions to start going after inflammation:
- Decrease the stress you have in your life.
- Balance your blood sugars with balanced nutrition.
- Decrease processed foods.
- Add in more natural, whole foods.
- Hydrate your body. Drink at least half your body weight in ounces per day minimum and please don’t drink tap water. Invest in a water system or drink hydrogen water that has insanely amazing benefits. If you are interested in learning more about that, please hit reply and I can send you the info.
- Have more sun exposure.
- Improve your sleep.
- Don’t underestimate the power of good supplements.
Is this good information or what? I think so. I can’t recommend enough the immune system molecule that I have been taking for the past year or so. The molecule’s job is to help your body recognize a threat and then take it out. Inflammation is definitely a threat. I am happy to share if you are interested in learning more. Too many people are not proactive enough in their health. Prevention is the best way to fight sickness and disease. You can’t be proactive enough in my opinion.
